Job summary

Cheney Brothers, Inc. is seeking associates for a warehouse role in Florence, SC. Training pays $20.00/hour with potential to reach an average of $50.00/hour after hitting productivity goals.

Schedule is Sunday–Thursday with rotating Fridays; shifts start at 4:30pm and continue until work is completed. The role offers competitive pay and benefits from Day 1, including health benefits, stock purchase plan, 401(k) matching, education assistance, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Ability to work scheduled shifts, including required overtime.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly during shift.
• Lift 10–35 lbs regularly and up to 60–100 lbs (location dependent).
• Work in multi-temperature environments (dry, cooler, freezer).
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• EPJ certification within the new-hire training period.
• Complete required training independently.

Responsibilities

• Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines.
• Ensure work area is safe and report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Review work schedule, obtain supplies, and prepare for operations.
• Perform safety checks on pallet jack/forklift and ensure safety devices function.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location and guidelines.
• Place pallets on pallet jack and operate along racks to locate products.
• Transport completed palletized orders to the shipping dock; shrink-wrap if needed.
• At shift end, secure equipment and complete paperwork.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
