Job summary

Greco and Sons, Inc. is seeking a part-time warehouse associate to accurately select products, prepare orders, and load pallets in a fast-paced environment. The role requires attention to detail, safe handling, and adherence to GMP/SQF protocols.

The position offers Sun-Thurs 6pm-4am (or finish) with a pay rate of $21.22 per hour plus incentives and a sign-on bonus up to $1,000. Walk-ins are welcome during posted hours; part-time flexibility is available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 0–1 year of relevant warehouse experience.
• Able to lift 10–75 lbs, up to 100 lbs.
• Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
• Stand on feet for 10–12 hours daily.
• Work in extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).
• Preferred: 1 year experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.

Responsibilities

• Read customer order from label screen and select product by slot and description.
• Assemble orders from stock and place on pallets in the proper sequence.
• Attach labels on product.
• Operate an electric pallet jack to move pallets to dock area for staging.
• Report any damage to merchandise, equipment or facility to a supervisor.
• Perform daily equipment checks.
• Assist in the clean-up of the facility and sign off on the daily cleaning area.
• Sign in and out for all equipment when used.
• Follow GMP and SQF policies and procedures as described in training manual.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Under general supervision, the associate will accurately and efficiently select products in the warehouse. Prepare products for shipping by stacking in an orderly and stable configuration, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Read customer order from label screen and select product by slot and description.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets in the proper sequence.
• Attach labels on product.
• Properly operate an electric pallet jack (2-pallet length) to proceed to correct slot location, and transport product to dock area for staging.
• Handle products with the necessary care.
• Report any damage of merchandise, equipment or facility to a supervisor.
• Perform daily equipment checks.
• Assist in the clean-up of the facility and sign off on the daily cleaning area that the supervisor may assign.
• Sign in and out for all equipment when used.
• Use basic communication skills to understand work systems, instructions, etc.
• Adhere to all applicable GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), personal hygiene, and SQF (Safe Quality Food) policies and procedures as described in the European Imports – Sysco Food Safety Training Manual.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 0 – 1 Year relevant work experience.
• Frequently lift product that weighs 10lb - 75lbs and up to 100lbs.
• Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
• Constantly bend and twist while operating an electric pallet jack or forklift, retrieving products from lower shelf areas.
• Work in very extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).
• Work on your feet for 10 – 12 hours daily.

Preferred Requirements

• 1 year experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
• 1 year of warehouse, military, or physically active job experience.
• 1 year Selection Experience.
• 2 years consistent work history preferred.
