Job summary

Johnson Brothers of Indiana is seeking a warehouse team member to select products for outbound shipping, lift 35-60 lb cases, and record shift data. The role operates on night shifts, typically Monday-Thursday 6:00 p.m.

to 4:30 a.m., with Fridays off, offering a pay rate of $25.00/hour and eligibility for OT incentives up to $9.00/hour. Qualified candidates are legally able to work in the United States, have a high school diploma, 2+ years of related experience, and experience operating scanning

Responsibilities

• Select product for outbound shipping.
• Lift 35-60 lb cases repeatedly and palletize up to 1000 times per shift.
• Review labels and match to correct product.
• Record start/stop times on assignments.
• Reposition cases and labels to maintain accuracy.
• Record breakage and cleanup per procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping as directed by supervisor.
• Complete end-of-shift duties such as palletizing and returns.

All night shifts are generally Monday - Thursday 6:00 p.m. to about 4:30 a.m., with Friday's off.

NEW PAY RATE--up to $34.00 an hour!! This position pays $25.00/hour and is eligible for OT Incentive opportunities up to $9.00/hour Potential total earnings of $34.00/hour

Job Duties

• Select product for outbound shipping.
• Repeatedly lift 35-60 pound cases and place on a pallet up to 1000 times per shift in the correct sequence for the delivery driver to properly deliver the goods.
• Accurately review information on selection labels and match them to the correct product.
• Properly record start and stop times on work assignments.
• Reposition cases and labels accordingly to maintain accuracy and eliminate breakage.
• Properly recording breakage and clean-up of breakage.
• Housekeeping as directed by supervisor.
• Complete end of shift responsibilities such as palletizing, returns, replenishment cases or bottles, and cleanup activities as directed.

• Ability to operate scanning devices

• Ability to find a solution for or deal proactively with work-related problems
• Safety Overview: Ability to perform job duties as instructed by process and follow rules and regulations pertaining to the warehouse and all equipment safety regulations.
• The use of cell phones strictly prohibited in the warehouse, phones can be used during break and lunch periods outside of normal work areas.
