Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a full-time order picker at our Clackamas, OR distribution center. You will read orders, build pallets, retrieve items, and submit orders to shipping in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include selecting orders, verifying item numbers and quantities, and maintaining safety and productivity standards. Weekend and overtime availability is required to meet distribution needs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to meet production standards.
• Minimum 18 years of age and willingness to move with urgency.
• Able to work weekends and overtime regularly.
• Familiarity with distribution center terms and processes.

Responsible for filling stores’ orders in an accurate, productive and safe manner. Perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability and willingness to move with purpose and a strong sense of urgency.
• Ability to work weekends on a frequent basis.
• Ability to work overtime on a regular basis.
• Familiarity with distribution center terms and processes.
• Ability to meet production standards.
• High school education or general education degree (GED) plus one year experience in work or equivalent combination of education and experience.
