Central Texas Food Bank in Waco is seeking a Warehouse Order Selector to pick customer orders from inventory using a pick list and to assist with sanitation, inventory, and shipping. The role includes handling products, rotating stock, and operating material handling equipment in a dynamic warehouse environment.

The job requires a high school diploma, basic English literacy, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Math, Reading and Writing Skills in English.
• Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks.
• Capable of following directions and communicating effectively.
• Experience providing superior customer service by fulfilling orders with 100% accuracy.
• Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
• Forklift Certification is preferred and knowledge of Material Handling Equipment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
• Use handheld scanners or mobile devices to track inventory and ensure accuracy.
• Pack and label products for shipment, ensuring they meet quality standards.
• Perform FIFO picking and keep pallets organized and secure.
• Load delivery vehicles and maintain clean, safe work areas.
• Update stock inventory after each item is retrieved and manage stock replenishment.
