Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking a warehouse associate to pull case orders using an electric pallet jack and load them onto designated routes in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires handling heavy items up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 80 lbs occasionally, with work in a cooler environment. Candidates should have HS/GED and 1 year related experience; pallet jack experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year related experience preferred.

JOB SUMMARY

The selector pulls case orders on an electric pallet jack, organizes the product by assignment, and loads on a designated route in a fast-paced team environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Selects orders assigned by operations clerk, and loads onto the proper route.
• Performs other job functions as assigned by supervisors

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Prefer High School or GED.

Experience

• Preferred 1-year related experience.
• Electric pallet jack experience preferred.

Professional Skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment for long periods of time in a cooler environment.

Physical Demand

• Frequent lifting of a product up to 50 lbs. during the shift, infrequent lifting up to 80 lbs.
• Must be able to climb on and off powered industrial equipment.
• Frequent bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling

Work Environment

• Must be able to work in confined spaces
