Job summary

Alliance Beverage is hiring an Order Selector in Michigan. You will pick orders by headset in a climate-controlled warehouse and must hold hi-lo and walkie rider certifications. You will lift cases and kegs up to 165 pounds and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Certifications for equipment handling (Hi-Lo, Walkie Rider).
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic to verify orders.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive Pay:Warehouse Selectors can earn $24.75/hr after the probationary period.
• Schedule. Sunday- Thursday8:00pmthrough completion.

  • Pay for Performance scale allows you to earn up to an extra $2.00-$3.00 more per hour based on performance.

About Alliance Beverage:

Chicago native Larry Gary settled in Hastings, MI, where he owned and operated a bowling alley. In 1963, Larry and his wife, Joan, decided a change was in order; they moved to the Grand Rapids area, where Larry founded Kent Beverage.

Detroit native Tim Sullivan, along with his brother Mike, founded Sullivan Brothers Construction on the east side of the state. However, after seeing his friends thrive in the beer distribution business, Tim decided to make a change, purchasing Grand Rapids' B&B Beer in 1977.

Both companies grew and flourished, passing from one generation to the next, each strengthening its roots in Michigan. Eventually, over a shared pint, the Gary and Sullivan families envisioned a stronger future together.
