Petco is hiring Warehouse Workers to join our Distribution Center team.

As a Warehouse Worker III on Petco's Order Selection team, you'll help build the shipments that keep our stores stocked with the products pets and pet parents count on every day. Using an electric pallet jack and voice-directed picking technology, you'll select products, build and wrap pallets and get orders ready for our Shipping team.

This is one of our more physically demanding warehouse roles, and the pay reflects the work. You'll stay active throughout your shift picking, stacking and preparing orders for shipment.

This is also a direct-hire position - not a seasonal job. We're looking for people who want the opportunity to stay, grow and build their future with Petco.

What You'll Do

You’ll spend your shift in Order Selection picking products and building pallets for shipment to Petco stores.

• Operate an electric pallet jack to move throughout the DC.


• Use a voice-directed picking system and headset that tells you where to go and what products to pick.


• Select merchandise accurately and efficiently to complete store orders.


• Lift and move merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds throughout your shift.


• Stack products safely and securely to build pallets for shipment.


• Wrap completed pallets and work directly with our Shipping team to keep orders moving out of the DC.


• Use RF scanners as needed to scan and track merchandise while following established safety procedures.

What This Job Asks of You

This is labor-intensive, active work. You'll be moving throughout your shift, continuously picking, bending, reaching, carrying, lifting and stacking merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.

You’ll need to think about more than simply getting the right product. As you pick, you’ll build each pallet so merchandise is stacked securely and ready to make its way safely to our stores.

Pace matters, too. Order Selection is part of Petco's productivity-based warehouse operation, so you'll be expected to work safely and accurately while meeting established productivity standards.

The work can be repetitive, and you’ll spend your day in a warehouse environment that may be hot, cold, dusty and noisy.
