Job summary

Sysco Northern New England, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Selector to support the foodservice supply chain. You will pick customer orders in a Sysco warehouse and be a critical member of our delivery process in the local community.

This active role involves operating electric pallet jacks or forklifts, organizing products on pallets, and performing other duties as assigned in varying temperatures and environments.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 0–1 year relevant work experience.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs and work in extreme temperatures.
• Stand 10–12 hours daily.

Responsibilities

NIGHT WAREHOUSE SELECTOR Base rate is $27.49. Earn up to $36 with incentives

JOB SUMMARY

Work in a Sysco warehouse and be a critical member of the foodservice supply chain. Warehouse Selectors pick orders for delivery to foodservice venues in the local community.

• Active, physical role that includes operating an electric pallet jack, and/or forklift
• Organizing and palletizing product to build customer orders
• Other duties as assigned.

Safe working environment, working in areas with temperature and humidity variations based on local weather conditions and type of product being selected (i.e., non-refrigerated, refrigerated, and frozen.)

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 0 – 1 Year relevant work experience.
• Frequently lift product that weighs 10lb - 75lbs and up to 100lbs.
• Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
• Constantly bend and twist while operating an electric pallet jack or forklift, retrieving products from lower shelf areas.
• Work in very extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).
• Work on your feet for 10 – 12 hours daily.

Preferred Requirements

• 1 year experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
• 1 year of warehouse, military, or physically active job experience.
• 1 year Selection Experience.
• 2 years consistent work history preferred.
