Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking team members to pick cases and secure shipments in a multi-level rack warehouse. You will place items on pallets, wrap and label orders for timely shipment, while following all safety regulations.

Employees work Sun-Thu 5pm-Finish with competitive pay and benefits starting Day 1, including health, 401(k) matching, and PTO. This role supports America’s food distribution system with opportunities for growth within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work scheduled shifts with overtime as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly.
• Ability to lift 10-35 lbs regularly and up to 60-100 lbs depending on location.
• Ability to work in dry, cooler and freezer environments.
• Ability to pass post-offer drug test and background check.
• Ability to become EPJ certified during new-hire training.
• Ability to complete required training independently.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures and keep work area safe.
• Perform safety checks on pallet jack/forklift and wear PPE.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location.
• Locate products from multi-level racks according to order sheets.
• Stock items onto pallets from pick slots and racks.
• Transport completed orders to shipping dock and stage as needed.
• Replace batteries and complete vehicle inspection checklist; secure equipment at shift end.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Select cases and other containers of food and non-foodsproducts to fill customer orders from multi-level rack warehouse storage systems. Items are placed on pallets and completed orders are moved to the loading dock staging area with an electric pallet jack/forklift, wrapped,labeled,and readied for shipment in a timely manner observing all safety regulations and ensuring all quality standards are met while maintaining the efficient flow of product through the production process. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, asrequired, and perform any duties assigned to best serve the company.

Position Responsibilities

• Follow all preferred work methods, safetypoliciesand procedures per company guidelines. Ensureworkarea is safe and report any unsafe conditions and/or actsimmediately.
• Reviewworkschedule, obtain suppliesrequiredto perform theworkand prepare for operations. Perform a safety check on pallet jack/forklift to be used andinsurethat all other safety devices are functioning properly. Put on all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.
• Meet required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.
• Place pallets on pallet jack andoperatealong assigned multi-level racks andlocateproducts according to order sheets.
• Manually place theappropriate stockitems onpalletfrom pick slots and racks asrequired. Use single and/or double pallets as directed.
• Transport completed palletized customer order to shipping dock staging area. May berequiredtoshrink-wrappallet for staging.
• Remove batteries requiring recharging, replace with charged batteries, or attach re-charger and complete vehicle inspection checklist. At the end of theshiftsecure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Ability to pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check
• Ability to become EPJ certified within the new-hire training period
• Ability to complete required training independently
