Job summary

Sysco Corp. is hiring Warehouse Order Selectors in Minnesota to support the foodservice supply chain. You will pick, organize, and palletize products in a fast-paced warehouse environment, operating an electric pallet jack and/or forklift as needed. Training is provided, and overtime opportunities are available.

The role is an active, physical position with exposure to temperature variations and long standing hours. Prior warehouse experience is not required, and full-time hours are available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 0–1 year of relevant work experience.
• Frequently lift 10–75 lb and up to 100 lb.
• Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
• Bend and twist while operating pallet jack or forklift.
• Work in very extreme temperatures (cooler/freezer).
• Stand 10–12 hours daily.

Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY

Work in a Sysco warehouse and be a critical member of the foodservice supply chain. Warehouse Selectors pick orders for delivery to foodservice venues in the local community.

• Active, physical role that includes operating an electric pallet jack, and/or forklift
• Organizing and palletizing product to build customer orders
• Other duties as assigned.

Safe working environment, working in areas with temperature and humidity variations based on local weather conditions and type of product being selected (i.e., non-refrigerated, refrigerated, and frozen.)

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 0 – 1 Year relevant work experience.
• Frequently lift product that weighs 10lb - 75lbs and up to 100lbs.
• Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
• Constantly bend and twist while operating an electric pallet jack or forklift, retrieving products from lower shelf areas.
• Work in very extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).
• Work on your feet for 10 – 12 hours daily.

Preferred Requirements

• 1 year experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
• 1 year of warehouse, military, or physically active job experience.
• 1 year Selection Experience.
• 2 years consistent work history preferred.
