Job summary

Sysco Cincinnati, LLC is immediately hiring Warehouse Order Selectors to join our distribution team in Cincinnati. You will be responsible for selecting orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment, using electric pallet jacks and forklifts as needed, and preparing orders for delivery to local foodservice customers.

The role includes standing for long periods, lifting heavy items (10–100 lbs) and working in temperature-controlled areas such as coolers and freezers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 0 - 1 year relevant work experience.
• Frequently lift product that weighs 10 lb - 75 lb and up to 100 lb.
• Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
• Constantly bend and twist while operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
• Work in very extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).
• Work on your feet for 10 - 12 hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Sysco warehouse and be a critical member of the foodservice supply chain. Warehouse Selectors pick orders for delivery to foodservice venues in the local community.
• Active, physical role that includes operating an electric pallet jack, and/or forklift.
• Organizing and palletizing product to build customer orders.

Safe working environment, working in areas with temperature and humidity variations based on local weather conditions and type of product being selected (i.e., non-refrigerated, refrigerated, and frozen.)

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 0 - 1 Year relevant work experience.
• Frequently lift product that weighs 10lb - 75lbs and up to 100lbs.
• Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
• Constantly bend and twist while operating an electric pallet jack or forklift, retrieving products from lower shelf areas.
• Work in very extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).
• Work on your feet for 10 - 12 hours daily.

Preferred Requirements

• 1 year experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
• 1 year of warehouse, military, or physically active job experience.
• 1 year Selection Experience.
• 2 years consistent work history preferred.
