Job summary

Greco and Sons, Inc. is hiring for a warehouse associate to accurately select products, prepare orders, and stack pallets for shipping.

You will operate an electric pallet jack and forklift, maintain clean and safe work areas, and follow GMP and SQF guidelines while handling products with care. Responsibilities include reading orders, assembling pallets in sequence, labeling products, and performing routine equipment checks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 0–1 year relevant work experience.
• Frequently lift 10–75 lbs and up to 100 lbs.
• Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
• Bend and twist while operating pallet jack or forklift.
• Work in extreme temperatures (cooler/freezer) and on your feet 10–12 hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Read customer order from label screen and select product by slot and description.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets in the proper sequence.
• Attach labels on product.
• Operate an electric pallet jack to correct slot and transport to dock for staging.
• Handle products with care.
• Report damage to supervisor.
• Perform daily equipment checks.
• Assist in facility clean-up and sign off on daily cleaning area.
• Sign in and out for all equipment used.
• Use basic communication skills to understand work systems and instructions.
• Adhere to GMP, personal hygiene, and SQF policies as described in training manual.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Under general supervision, the associate will accurately and efficiently select products in the warehouse. Prepare products for shipping by stacking in an orderly and stable configuration, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Read customer order from label screen and select product by slot and description.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets in the proper sequence.
• Attach labels on product.
• Properly operate an electric pallet jack (2-pallet length) to proceed to correct slot location, and transport product to dock area for staging.
• Handle products with the necessary care.
• Report any damage of merchandise, equipment or facility to a supervisor.
• Perform daily equipment checks.
• Assist in the clean-up of the facility and sign off on the daily cleaning area that the supervisor may assign.
• Sign in and out for all equipment when used.
• Use basic communication skills to understand work systems, instructions, etc.
• Adhere to all applicable GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), personal hygiene, and SQF (Safe Quality Food) policies and procedures as described in the European Imports – Sysco Food Safety Training Manual.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Frequently lift product that weighs 10lb - 75lbs and up to 100lbs.
• Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
• Constantly bend and twist while operating an electric pallet jack or forklift, retrieving products from lower shelf areas.
• Work in very extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).
• Work on your feet for 10 – 12 hours daily.

Preferred Requirements

• 1 year experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
• 1 year of warehouse, military, or physically active job experience.
• 1 year Selection Experience.
• 2 years consistent work history preferred.
