Job summary

Sysco Boston is seeking a Warehouse Order Selector to join our foodservice distribution team. You will pick orders for delivery to local venues, operate an electric pallet jack and/or forklift, and palletize products for efficient loading.

This active role requires standing for long periods, lifting 10–75 lbs frequently, and working in varying temperatures. Previous warehouse experience is a plus; a strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 0–1 year relevant work experience.
• Frequently lift product that weighs 10lb - 75lbs and up to 100lbs.
• Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
• Constantly bend and twist while operating equipment.
• Work in extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).
• Stand for 10–12 hours daily.

Responsibilities

Warehouse Selectors pick orders for delivery to foodservice venues in the local community.* Active, physical role that includes operating an electric pallet jack, and/or forklift* Organizing and palletizing product to build customer orders* Other duties as assigned.
