Job summary

Atlanta Beverage Company is seeking an Order Picker to accurately select customer orders in our warehouse. You will use interactive picking software and operate electric or manual equipment to meet productivity standards.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00am until completion. This role requires reading and counting accurately, basic math, and attention to safety, team communication, and paperwork accuracy. Candidates must be able to lift over 40 pounds and thrive in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to read and count accurately.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently picks orders without damaging products.
• Ensures the correct number and type of product is picked.
• Safely transports products to designated area for wrapping.
• Operates warehouse equipment safely.
• Reports all company property damage to the supervisor.
• Completes all related paperwork neatly and accurately.
• Regularly reports to work at the scheduled starting time.
• Adheres to the established dress code.
• Understands and complies with all Atlanta Beverage Company policies and procedures.

The Order Picker is responsible for picking the orders accurately and efficiently to meet productivity standards and is accountable for the accuracy of each order they pick. In performing this job, the Order Picker is routed through the warehouse by computer system using interactive picking software. The Order Picker operates electric and/or manual warehouse equipment.

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Hours of Operation: 9:00am - Until complete

• Accurately and efficiently picks orders without damaging products.
• Ensures the correct number and type of product is picked.
• Safely transports products to designated area for wrapping.
• Operates electric or manual warehouse equipment in a safe and controlled manner.
• Reports all Company property damage to the supervisor.
• Completes all work related paperwork neatly and accurately.
• Regularly reports to work each day at the scheduled starting time.
• Adheres to the established dress code.
• Understands and complies with all Atlanta Beverage Company policies and procedures.

• Must be able to read and count accurately and do simple math

Physical Demands

• Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, reach, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Must posses the ability to lift and/or move over 40 pounds consistently.
• Must be able to speak and hear to communicate.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Environmental Conditions and Temperaments

• Job duties are performed inside a warehouse facility with a moderate to loud noise level.
• Regularly exposed to cold temperatures in the warehouse facility.
