MAT Holdings Inc. in Jackson, TN is hiring for an Order Picker on 1st shift at $18.50/hour. Shift is Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–2:30 pm with overtime potential. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered. Duties include picking/packing customer orders, RF scanning, palletizing, and preparing shipments for delivery.

Responsibilities

• Operates RF scanners to read barcodes, process merchandise, and palletize.

• Assembles orders by pulling, packing, palletizing and preparing for delivery.
• Loads/unloads/sorts/stages product in the warehouse.
• Operates pallet-jack and uses computer to print tickets or labels.
• Maintains an organized, safe work environment and reports hazards.

Job Summary

Picks and packs customer's orders.

Responsibilities

• Operates RF scanners to read barcodes, process merchandise, and palletizing
• Reads pick tickets and match alpha numeric sku numbers with description written on ticket
• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pull materials; pack boxes; palletize and place orders in delivery area
• Manually loads, unloads, sorts, and stages product throughout the warehouse
• Efficiently operate a manual pull or battery-powered pallet-jack
• Uses computer to look up items, print tickets or shipping labels
• Accurately completes all paperwork as needed
• Maintains an organized, clean and safe work environment, including picking up trash and reporting all safety hazards and incidents to proper personnel
• Works harmoniously and cooperatively with others
• Follows all Company and OSHA safety guidelines
• Maintain attendance according to company policies
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Prior RF scanner experience picking orders required.

Experience:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• 6 months or more related experience and/or training
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
