Hawaii Logistics LLC is hiring a Selector Trainee in Kapolei, Hawaii. You will select full-case grocery items using a pallet jack, build pallets, wrap them, and load for shipping. Safety is emphasized, with overtime as needed to meet business needs.

Training is provided, and opportunities for career progression exist within the Hawaii logistics network.

• Fits products on a pallet; insuring heavy products on bottom to reduce damage, plastic wrapping them, and loading them onto a trailer.
• Must be able to work to the end of shift to include necessary overtime in order to meet business needs.

Position Overview

As a Selector Trainee, you will work individually selecting full-case grocery, frozen, and/or perishable products from warehouse pick slots using a pallet jack or other equipment. You will either use order sheets or an audio headset. You will then fit the items on a pallet (are you good at Tetris?), plastic wrap the bundles, transport pallets to shipping dock and in some cases, load them onto a trailer for delivering to customers. All of our employees are expected to make safety their top priority.

Compensation & Schedule

• Starting hourly rate is $24.28 per hour
• 2nd shift Full time starting Sunday at 9am, Monday to Thursday starting at 130pm
• Kapolei, Hawaii

Must be able to work to the end of shift to include necessary overtime in order to meet business needs and willing to assist in other departments based upon business needs. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Walking between 6-12 miles per day on various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.

Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more

Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height

Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
