Order Pickers typically work a four-day workweek from Monday to Thursday, working the second shift for typically 7-9 hours per night in a temperature-controlled warehouse (maintained at 60 to 64 degrees). Forklift and walkie-rider experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Your responsibilities include handling cases of beer and other products weighing 50 pounds or more while ensuring safety and cleanliness. Your primary duties involve manually pulling orders from computer-generated pick sheets and preparing them for loading onto delivery trucks or staging areas. You will operate industrial equipment, such as walkie riders and forklifts, to stage pallets in accordance with Fabiano Brothers' standards. Additional tasks may be assigned to help you understand our distribution processes and contribute to warehouse efficiency and safety. You will need to read or listen to work orders and operate a stand-up or sit-down forklift; training will be provided. Our voice-picking technology systems will assist you in tracking tasks and locating products efficiently.
