Job summary

Lifeway Foods, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Order Fulfillment Worker Level II to read orders, pick items from shelves, and stage them for delivery in a fast-paced cold environment.

You will operate pallet jacks, verify expiration dates and quantities, and ensure pallets are properly shrink-wrapped. A High School diploma or equivalent is required, and +1 year experience is preferred. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reads incoming orders and selects items from warehouse shelves.
• Picks orders inside and outside the cooler and stages them for delivery.
• Calculates final pallet counts and item allocation.
• Ensures correct expiration date, bin code, and quantity.
• Reports order discrepancies to supervisors.
• Operates equipment such as pallet jacks and shrink-wraps pallets.
• Performs other warehouse duties as needed.

Job description

A Warehouse Order Fulfillment Worker Level II is responsible for reading incoming orders and selecting the correct items from the warehouse shelves before staging them for delivery.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Not Applicable for this position

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Works inside and outside of the cooler picking orders
• Responsible for collecting inventory picks from supervisor and returning them when complete
• Responsible for calculating what items will go on which pallet in order to determine a final count
• Must pick items according to expiration date, bin code, and quantity
• Responsible for efficiently picking orders to ensure it is complete in a timely mannerMust report any order discrepancies to supervisors such as date changes, pallet count changes, etc.
• Responsible for using operating equipment such as pallet jacks
• Responsible for ensuring pallets are in appropriate height and weight
• Responsible for ensuring all pallets are properly shrink-wrapped
• Responsible for performing other warehouse duties as necessary
• Additional Duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Understand basic English
• Bilingual: Spanish/English is a plus

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred +1 year experience

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Ability to work in cold environment (38 degrees Fahrenheit)
• Ability to work an electric pallet jack
