Job summary

Nestlé's Gerber facility in the United States is seeking a Warehouse Operator I to maintain efficient warehouse operations on a weekend schedule. You will pick, pack, stock, and move products using pallet jacks and scanners, following GMPs and SOPs to ensure accurate inventory and on-time shipments.

You will work with a team to meet safety standards and quality procedures, with onboarding in the first week and opportunities for professional growth within a leading nutrition and wellness company.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move throughout shift.
  • Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens.
  • Flexible to work overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Operate material handling equipment to move products.
  • Pick, pack, and restock items based on system instructions.
  • Verify product types and quantities, and correct discrepancies.
  • Use scanners and digital tools to track inventory.
  • Wrap pallets, apply labels, and prepare shipments.
  • Follow safety rules, GMPs, SOPs, and company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

SHIFT/SCHEDULE:

This role operates on the Weekend shift, with a schedule of Friday–Sunday, 5:00 AM–5:30 PM.

ONBOARDING SCHEDULE:

To ensure a successful start and seamless integration into the team, this role includes a structured 4–5-day onboarding program, typically scheduled from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. All new employees are expected to complete this onboarding during their first week.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a WarehouseOperator I,you’llhelp keep our warehouse running smoothly by picking, packing, stocking, and moving products. You’ll use equipment like pallet jacks and scanners, follow safety and quality procedures, and work as part of a team to make sure the right products get where they need to go. Your attention to detail and dependability help us deliver the products people love — safely and efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Operate material handling equipment to move products
  • Pick, pack, and restock items based on system instructions
  • Verify product types and quantities, and correct discrepancies
  • Use scanners and digital tools to track inventory
  • Wrap pallets, apply labels, and prepare shipments
  • Follow safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Able tolift upto 50lbsand move throughout your shift
  • Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens
  • Flexible to work overtime based on business needs
SKILLS:
  • Comfortable using computers, tablets, and scanners
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Able to read, write, and understand English
  • Team-oriented and dependable
  • Strong organization and time management
  • Prior forklift experience preferred

Pay: per hour

The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
