Job summary

Pacific Seafood in Astoria, OR is seeking a Warehouse Worker to join our Distribution-Direct Labor team. This full-time on-site role involves unloading, replenishing, and loading products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and following safety and HACCP guidelines.

Ideal candidates are organized, reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to train. Preferred forklift and pallet jack experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work variable shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• No experience necessary, training on the job.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with transport drivers to ensure incoming loads are received in a timely manner.
• Review receiving documentation to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain the warehouse configuration according to the approved layout for product, packaging, and equipment storage.
• Properly load a pallet to trucks and ensure loads are stable and secure.
• Inspect product quality and rotate pallets; ensure proper tagging and inventory control.
• Read pick tickets to pick, pack, and load orders; ensure correct quantities and staging.
• Perform emergency replenishment to meet customer order demands.
