Job summary

KSI Auto Parts is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Chicago, IL. The role involves loading, unloading, picking, staging, and packing in a fast-paced distribution center to ensure accurate inventory flow.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in warehousing, experience with Cherry Pickers and forklifts, and the ability to lift up to 75lbs while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards. Teamwork and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Capable of lifting up to 75lbs and able to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods of time.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Skilled at working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal, written, and auditory communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, pick, put away, consolidate, stack, and stage products and materials using warehouse equipment.
• Process warehouse deliveries, check in-bound shipments, validate chain of custody and bills of lading forms.
• Select and pick orders based on pick tickets and labels.
• Participate in physical inventories, cycle counting, and data entry.
• Operate cherry picker, forklift, and other equipment within safety standards.
• Utilize basic math, reading, and writing to perform daily tasks.
• Assist in warehouse maintenance tasks such as sweeping floors and storing equipment.
• Follow work instructions and best practices to complete daily assignments.
• Push, pull, reach, bend, and lift up to 75lbs.
• Stand, walk, and lift for long periods.
• Perform other duties as assigned; comply with company policies.
