Job summary

Ryerson is seeking a Warehouse Operator in Streetsboro, OH to stage, pack, and pick material for shipments using proper equipment. You will join a registered apprenticeship program during onboarding.

The role requires passing a skills-based assessment, basic math and computer skills, and physical clearance for mobility. Prior similar experience is preferred, with wages in the $23.35–$25.52/hour range depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Pass a skills-based assessment evaluating reading, math, inspection & measurement, attention to detail, and problem solving.
• Minimum 2 years of similar job experience preferred.
• Basic math skills and comfort with computers required.
• Vision, hearing, and mobility clearances required for physical test.
• Onboarding includes enrollment in a registered apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities

• Pick and stage feedstock for fulfillment orders.
• Break down bulk bundles for customer orders.
• Package material to customer specifications.
• Operate a sit-down or side loader forklift as needed.
• Complete SAP work orders for shipping/receiving accurately.
• Maintain maximum productivity for finished goods creation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
