Job summary

Navy Exchange Service Command is seeking a Warehouse Worker (Material Handling Equipment) to perform receiving, storing, issuing and shipping duties in a warehouse setting in Bethesda, MD. The role may require forklift operation and adherence to safety procedures, with pay beginning at the NF-01 level and benefits starting on Day One.

The ideal candidate will have 18 months of warehousing experience, a valid state driver’s license, and the ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months warehouse experience or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Must obtain and maintain a forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload merchandise; verify against documentation and report discrepancies.
• Stock and organize items in designated locations; ensure location accuracy.
• Operate material handling equipment (MHE) up to 10,000 pounds and manual equipment up to 2,500 pounds.
• Assist in charge back, inventory preparation, and basic housekeeping.
