Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Franklin Park, IL, is seeking a Warehouse Operator to manage shipments, coordinate with off-site locations, and ensure accurate documentation.

Ideal candidates have forklift experience, Dangerous Goods qualification, and knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems. English proficiency is preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position with hourly pay between $17.00 and $20.00.

Qualifications

• Must have forklift experience.
• Dangerous Goods Qualification.
• Forklift Operation and Certification.
• Some experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
• English preferred (reading, writing and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Performs daily activities for an assigned shift or within an assigned area or function.
• Adheres to specific warehouse work instructions for receiving, labeling, storing, shipping and value add services.
• Meets company objectives in performance, safety, quality, leadership, and customer service.
• Works with supervisor and freight forwarding teams to identify areas to improve service to the client.
• Unloads inbound shipments safely and moves products to the correct destination; stage, stack and load items correctly.
• Loads/unloads product using proper handling techniques and ensures trailer is secured for transit.
