Job summary

Bosch Charleston is seeking a Warehouse Operator to support material flow in a fast-paced plant environment. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, ship and receive materials, and help meet daily production goals while adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, with supervision and other personnel.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel).
• Must be able to function in a noisy and fast paced environment.
• Demonstrates self-initiative.

Responsibilities

• Operates industrial equipment (forklift, tugger, electric pallet jacks), ships, receives and delivers material to product lines on an hourly basis (or faster).
• Uses systems to prepare and send final products to customers.
• Meet daily production goals and understand cycle time requirements.
• Follow plant safety and environmental policies, and keep work areas clean and orderly.
• Conduct inventory and component inspections and/or audit to specification, as required.
• Maintain charts, logbooks, databases, as required.
• Perform and maintain accurate finished goods traceability.
• Maintains Visual Management Boards, databases and other miscellaneous records required.
• Informs and works with appropriate associates to resolve any issue with equipment, components or systems.
• Identifies, counts, transfers, and store components using current inventory systems.
