Job summary

American Tire Distributors is seeking a Warehouse II in Fairfield, CT to move products within the warehouse and act as a back-up delivery driver for non-CDL trucks. You will prioritize and pick items to fill orders, lift up to 50 pounds, and assist with paperwork and inventory control.

This role emphasizes safe operation of warehouse equipment, teamwork, and reliability. Opportunities exist to grow within our logistics team as we support timely order fulfillment and accurate stock management.

Qualifications

• High School or GED degree
• 1–2 years of related experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in administrative tasks, such as handling and preparation of paperwork; may assist in daily warehouse closing.
• Verify incoming/outgoing products for accuracy and assist in inventory counts.
• Compile and submit reports on damaged or out-of-stock items; prioritize and pick materials for orders.
• Organize warehouse stock by product line and maintain space for overflow.
• Load/unload delivery trucks; lift up to ~50 pounds; handle tires as needed.
• Operate forklifts/pallet jacks/order pickers safely; maintain license if required.
• Perform periodic maintenance and custodial tasks; support daily warehouse closing.
• Prioritize materials for order fulfillment and staging for loading.
