Zekelman Industries is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and safe material handling. The role involves preparing materials, handling inbound/outbound shipments, and maintaining inventory accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers a 3rd shift with pay of $22.50/hr plus incentives. Candidates should have at least 2 years of warehouse experience, prefer steel/tubing background, and demonstrate strong attention to detail

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience; steel or tubing experience preferred.
• Basic math proficiency for accurate order processing.
• Effective communication to support cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Ability to solve problems in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe work practices per company policies and standards.
• Prepare materials, products, and equipment for shipment.
• Process and fulfill orders for customers and internal teams.
• Picks, packs, and stages orders with verification via scanning tools.
• Loads shipments onto trucks or LTL carriers.
• Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials; report damages.
• Replenish stock and rotate inventory using reach trucks or forklifts.
• Operate forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
• Standardize and improve shipping/receiving procedures for accuracy.
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular, full-time onsite attendance.

About the Role

The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in supporting warehouse operations at Zekelman Industries by ensuring accurate order fulfillment, safe material handling, and efficient shipment processing. The role contributes directly to operational flow by preparing materials, handling inbound and outbound shipments, and maintaining inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and effective in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and productivity are essential.

Pay: $22.50/hr + Incentive

What You’ll Do

• Champions safe work practices in alignment with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Prepares materials, products, and equipment for shipment and distribution.
• Processes and fulfills orders for customers and internal teams.
• Picks, packs, and stages orders while verifying accuracy using scanning tools.
• Loads shipments onto flatbed trucks or LTL carriers.
• Receives, inspects, and processes incoming materials while reporting damages.
• Replenishes warehouse stock and rotates inventory using a reach truck or forklift.
• Operates forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, and walkie rider pallet jacks to move materials efficiently.
• Standardizes and improves shipping and receiving procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Performs additional warehouse duties as assigned.
• Maintains regular, full-time onsite attendance.

Who You Are
