Job summary

West Liberty Foods, Tremonton, UT, is seeking a Warehouse Operator to operate forklifts and manage material movement within our facility. The role requires safe operation of equipment, adherence to safety protocols, and accurate transaction processing.

You will be responsible for picking and loading operations, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting cooler/freezer processes while adhering to quality and safety standards. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year related experience preferred.
• Experience in food manufacturing or processing is a plus.
• Must be able to problem solve and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial truck and forklift safely.
• Perform pre-operational inspections of equipment.
• Learn and use the scanner and transaction processes.
• Pick both fresh and frozen products.
• Load and unload trucks and complete required documentation.
• Maintain good housekeeping and perform routine maintenance.
• Work in cooler and freezer environments.
• Repair and sort pallets as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Starting Base Hourly Wage: $20.85 per hour
• Shift Premium: $1.50

Job Summary

Warehouse Operator is responsible for operating the powered industrial truck and forklift to move product, equipment, or materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for operating a powered industrial truck and forklift safely.
• Responsible for pre‑operational inspections of the powered industrial truck and forklift.
• Operate a scanner and learn the required transaction process.
• Responsible for picking both fresh and frozen products.
• Responsible for loading and unloading trucks along with completing the necessary documentation.
• Maintenance and good housekeeping duties.
• Responsible for cooler and freezer operations.
• Repair and sort pallets as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of related experience is preferred. Experience in food manufacturing or processing is a plus. Previous experience operating a powered industrial truck and/or forklift.
• Age: Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorships are available.
• Certification: Must be able to become certified on operating equipment including powered industrial trucks and forklift.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Skills: Must be able to problem solve and perform basic math. Must be able to work independently without constant supervision. Must have good attention to detail.
• Physical Abilities:
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, including above the head and below the waist.
• Environmental: Ability to work in varying temperature conditions including cold temperatures.
• Flexibility: Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed. Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands.
• Compliance: Must practice good personal hygiene. Candidates must successfully pass a post‑offer/pre‑employment drug test, background screen, physical and E-Verify.
