Meyer Distributing is seeking a Warehouse Operator to join our Orlando, FL team. The role loads/unloads trucks, stocks inventory, pulls stock, and stages orders for shipping while safely operating forklift and manlift equipment.

Expect a stable 5-day, ~40-hour week with a starting hourly rate of $19.00. Training for forklift and manlift certification is provided within 3 months. Meyer Distributing offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities across 85+ locations.

Competenze

• Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Capable of operating forklift and manlift equipment.
• Willing to obtain forklift and manlift certification within 3 months.
• Able to work up to 25 feet above ground level and not afraid of heights.
• Able to engage in repetitious bending and lifting.

Mansioni

• Unload trucks and distribute products to the appropriate warehouse area.
• Use scanners to place parts in bins and pull orders.
• Stock parts on racks in proper locations.
• Fill orders from warehouse stock and distribute to shipping or pickup staging areas.
• Place product on pallets, wrap with film, and band using equipment.
• Assist in inventory counts and reconciliation.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized at all times.
• Wear protective toe shoes and work safely at all times.
• Move products manually and with forklift/manlift as needed.
• Load trucks and secure product; perform other duties as assigned.

Meyer Distributing is looking for a Warehouse Operator to join our Orlando, FL team! The Warehouse Operator loads and unloads trucks, stocks products in appropriate locations, pulls stock and stages products for shipping, and operates powered industrial equipment (forklift/manlift), ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

Hourly Rate For Operator

• $19.00/Hr. without overtime

Schedule (End Times May Vary)

• Stable schedule: 5-day work week ~40 hours

2nd Shift

• Sunday 8:30 am – 4:00pm
• Monday 11:00 am – 8:00 pm
• Tuesday 11:00 am – 8:00 pm
• Wednesday 10:00 am – 8:00 pm
• Thursday 11:00 am – 8:00 pm
• Friday 9:00 am -6:00 pm

Requirements For Warehouse Workers And Operators

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to engage in repetitious bending and lifting
• Ability to operate equipment - forklift/manlift (cherry picker)
• Must obtain forklift and manlift certification within 3 months
• Must be able to work up to 25 feet above ground level
• Must not be afraid of heights

Warehouse Worker and Operator duties include but are not limited to

• Unload trucks and distribute products to appropriate area of warehouse for restocking
• Use scanners to place parts in proper bins and pulls orders
• Stock parts on racks in proper location
• Fill orders from warehouse stock and distributes items to shipping or to designated route driver/customer pick-up staging area
• Place product on pallets and wraps it in film and bands it using banding equipment
• Assist in counting and reconciliation of physical inventory
• Keep warehouse and work area clean and organized at all times
• Wear protective toed shoes and work in a safe manner at all times
• Move products manually and with the assistance of a forklift and manlift
• Load trucks and secures product
• All other duties as assigned
