Job summary

Lancesoft in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Material Handler to manage receipt, put away, retrieval, shipping, and cycle counting of materials. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a dynamic warehouse setting.

The position includes housekeeping duties and involvement in special projects under supervision of the Lead and Logistics Manager. A High School diploma and the ability to learn ISO, GMP, OSHA, DOT, and IATA regulations are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain is preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic math and ability to read and understand English are required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, put away, retrieve, ship and cycle count materials in the warehouse.
• Process receipt and storage of all raw and finished materials for internal and external customers.
• Maintain daily housekeeping/maintenance and participate in special projects as directed by Lead and Logistics Manager.

PREFERRED:

2 years of experience in a warehouse

MUST HAVES:

• Experience wrapping pallets, putting away and storing materials forklift certification nice to have but not mandatory

NOTE:

Steel-toe boots and safety glasses will be provided

Your role:

The Lenexa, KS material handler is responsible for working in the warehouse, processing the receipt, put away, retrieval, shipping, & cycle counting of all raw and finished materials to internal and external customers. This position will also handle daily housekeeping/maintenance and other special projects, as assigned by the Lead and Logistics Manager.

This position must also be flexible and be able to change direction at a moment's notice to meet any urgent requirements. A qualified individual will understand that every day is different and be willing to learn new things when necessary.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• An understanding of or ability to learn ISO, GMP, OSHA, DOT, and IATA regulations
• Ability to do basic math.
• Ability to understand and speak English
• Ability to obtain a forklift operator certification.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds regularly and 50 pounds, 60 times in an 8-hour shift
