Job summary

Collabera is seeking an on-site yard operations specialist in Columbus, OH. The role focuses on driving hostlers and large rigs to accurately position containers and chassis, backing up under cranes, and parking in designated spots.

You will connect and disconnect hitches, clip air hoses, and perform ground safety tasks with the yard crew, including inspecting equipment and coordinating crane moves with supervisors.

• Drive hostlers and big rigs to position containers and chassis, backing up under cranes and parking in designated spots.
• Connect and disconnect hitches and air hoses safely on the ground crew.
• Climb up and down rail cars while performing pre- and post-use equipment inspections.
• Maintain clear lines under cranes and coordinate moves with yard personnel and supervisors.
