Job summary

Haugland Group is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Associate for our South Windsor, CT location. You will handle general warehouse duties, help prepare bucket trucks, and coordinate equipment to support routine utility work.

The role requires lifting over 50 lbs, a clean driving record, and the ability to work occasional nights and weekends. CDL preferred; prior warehouse experience is strongly valued. We offer a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse and/or logistics experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with bucket truck setup and staging preferred.
• Knuckle Boom Operator certification or experience is a plus.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Clean driving record required; Class A or Class B CDL preferred.
• Capable of lifting more than 50 lbs and performing physically demanding tasks.
• Must be willing and able to work occasional nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for general warehouse duties including laboring, driving, and organizing inventory.
• Assist in preparing bucket trucks, coordinating equipment and materials, and ensuring readiness of tools and supplies.
• Organize and maintain warehouse operations to support routine utility work.
• Unload, palletize, and store materials accurately and efficiently.
• Operate dollies and pallet jacks to safely move heavy equipment and boxes.
• Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure readiness for field deployment.
• Work closely with field crews and supervisors to stage and dispatch materials and vehicles as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in compliance with company safety standards.
• Support inventory tracking, cycle counts, and reordering of supplies.
• Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned.
