Job summary

HD Supply seeks a distribution center professional to work across multiple departments, including case pick, shipping, receiving, returns, loading, order processing and replenishment. You will operate material handling equipment to move inventory efficiently.

This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and inventory control in a dynamic warehouse environment in New Jersey. HS Diploma or GED preferred; 2–5 years in DCs is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a distribution center across several departments.
• Ability to understand written material and follow instructions.
• Safety-conscious with general warehouse practices.

Responsibilities

• Use material handling equipment to locate and deliver products to designated areas.
• Assist with staging and loading orders into trucks for delivery.
• Verify quantity and quality of incoming products from vendors and DCs.
• Pick items and build pallets based on packing lists for orders.
• Inspect stock for wear or defects and report issues.
• Return misplaced items to proper storage locations.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment per policy.
• Perform inventory control tasks as needed.
