About The Role
Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager, this position is responsible for managing a team of hourly leads and associates in performing the outbound and sortation processes and managing the Jitsu warehouse facility per company Safety, Quality, and Cost standards.

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Safety
  • Collaborate with the Senior Operations Manager to design and implement safety standards and procedures. Ensure PPE availability for all personnel.
  • Train and enforce safety standards among hourly personnel.
  • Outbound
    • Manage outbound processes to ensure packages are dispatched daily according to schedule. Achieve safety, quality, and cost metrics, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Sortation
    • Oversee the sortation process for accuracy and efficiency, meeting safety, quality, and cost goals.
  • Team Management
    • Train, lead, and mentor a team of hourly leads and associates. Collaborate on hiring, training, and increasing qualified warehouse personnel.
    • Develop and manage work procedures, schedules, and certifications.
  • Problem Solving
    • Investigate and resolve operational issues during shifts, coordinating with other departments as needed.
  • Supply Management
    • Implement inventory management to ensure sufficient supplies, prevent stock-outs, and reduce costs. Submit bi-weekly supply orders.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • 3-5 years related experience in delivery, transportation, warehousing, or logistics.
    • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency with Google Drive, Slack, and related software.
    • OSHA Forklift Operator certification is a plus.

    Physical Requirements

    • Stand, walk, sit, work on a computer, and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 60 pounds.

    Hours

    Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends.

    Travel

    Approximately 10% within the metropolitan area.

    Compensation

    Base salary range: $72,000 - $84,000 USD/year, plus potential bonuses and equity.
