Cencora seeks a Warehouse Operations Manager to lead Warehouse Supervisors and teams, plan and coordinate all warehouse activities, and ensure safety and compliance in handling controlled substances and hazardous materials.

You will drive efficiency, coach staff, monitor performance, and manage budget while maintaining high service levels across the distribution network.

Qualifications

• Requires broad training in business administration, supply chain, or related field, typically a four-year bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years directly related experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Ability to establish positive relationships with associates, foster teamwork, and develop employees.
• Willing to work extended hours and participate in weekend on-call rotation to meet productivity goals.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, systems, engineered standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a production-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor attendance, performance, overtime, and compensation changes.
• Ensure safety compliance with company, state, and federal regulations when handling controlled substances.
• Develop and implement process improvements to reduce errors and improve service levels.
• Prepare and manage department budget within approved limits.
• Maintain cleanliness of the facility and support inventory accuracy.
• Provide emergency service to customers as needed.

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all aspects of warehouse operations in a radio frequency (RF)-enabled or non-RF-enabled environment, managing warehouse personnel and ensuring compliance with company, federal and state regulations regarding safety while working with controlled substances, pharmaceuticals, and hazardous and flammable materials. This position is categorized as compliance critical and, as such, requires specific responsibility for ensuring continual and proper compliance with all division, corporate and regulatory requirements.* Responsible for associates in the warehouse; tracks attendance, coaches and leads associates with a view to employee growth and development, monitors performance, and manages overtime and other compensation changes.* Directs warehouse activities to ensure efficient and economical utilization of facilities for storing and distributing inventory.* Maintains process management, productivity measures, and quality controls.* Reviews, tracks and analyzes critical success measures and compares the results with the targets on a regular basis. Develops and plans for improvement in areas such as order filling errors, late deliveries and overall service levels.
