Job summary

Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal is seeking a warehouse associate to ensure materials and supplies are available for job sites and to help manage inventory. The role involves processing orders, loading and unloading trucks, and supporting fleet operations to keep projects on schedule.

The successful candidate will have forklift experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma, with a focus on safety and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 100 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Experience operating a forklift and in warehouse environments.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse tasks and responsibilities.
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to job schedule (Load, Pack, Wrap, Label Ship).
• Oversee divisional fleet management and vehicle operations.
• Create purchase orders for materials and supplies.
• Load and unload delivery trucks; perform inventory controls.
• Maintain warehouse area clean and safe; enforce safety procedures.
• Maintain and reconcile inventory with records; conduct cycle counts.
