Job summary

Aramark Corporation in the United States is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to guide warehouse activities, oversee receiving, storing and distributing materials, and ensure timely delivery while upholding safety.

You will coordinate work assignments, maintain inventory levels, inspect deliveries, and help improve warehouse practices to boost efficiency and reduce costs. Strong communication and flexibility are required as duties may change.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a shipping/receiving supervisor role.
• Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible and able to adapt to variable work demands.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates planning and assignment of work to maximize efficiency of personnel and equipment.
• Maintains inventory and helps establish inventory levels based on usage and demand.
• Receives shipments and enters information into tracking systems for disbursement.
• Inspects deliveries for accuracy and quality and rejects undesirable items.
• Supervises warehouse and inventory to ensure security and upkeep.
• Assists in ordering from site vendors and communicates needs to management.
• Develops improvements to warehouse practices to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provides training for warehouse employees and assists in selecting staff.
• Uncrates shipments and disposes of or stores containers and packaging as needed.
