Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Four years of experience coordinating yard or warehousing activities.
• Experience with loading, receiving, stocking, and inventory procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversees receiving of all incoming merchandise and ensures proper counting, documentation, unloading, and storage.
• Supervises safe handling of goods and certifies training for forklift operators as needed.
• Coordinates periodic inventory checks and prepares orders to meet stock requirements.
• Assigns yard/warehouse staff to assemble and load merchandise into customer vehicles.
• Maintains organized work areas and ensures proper disposal of debris and safety hazards.
• Observes safety procedures and leads others to prevent injuries; participates in safety meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
