Superior Fence & Rail is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager in Illinois to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure accurate BOM staging, and lead 1-3 team members. You will coordinate material flow for 10+ installation crews weekly and maintain safety and organization.

The role emphasizes precision, proactive stock management, and clear communication to prevent delays and shortages, with forklift duties and outdoor yard work part of the job.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse experience required.
• Experience staging jobs or supporting field crews preferred.
• Experience leading small teams strongly preferred.
• Comfortable working in both warehouse and outdoor yard environments.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and verify incoming material shipments.
• Accurately stage materials for 10+ installation jobs per week.
• Interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs) and pick correct components for each job.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and proactively communicate low stock.
• Oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure organization and cleanliness.
• Lead and direct 1-3 warehouse team members.
• Safely operate a forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse and yard.
