Job summary

Petersen Industries LLC in Lake Wales, Florida is seeking a Stockroom Manager to lead daily warehouse operations, manage inventory, and support production with timely material availability. This on-site role demands strong organizational and leadership skills in a manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate will drive safety, improve processes, supervise a team, coordinate with manufacturing, purchasing and sales, and ensure accuracy of cycles counts, packing, and shipping.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse management or supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, cycle counts, and material handling.
• Proven leadership with team development experience.
• Experience operating forklift and material handling equipment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (Epicor, SAP) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and outbound shipping.
• Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliations.
• Supervise, train, and develop a team of warehouse associates with focus on safety.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, assembly, purchasing, and sales for on-time material availability.
• Maintain organized storage layouts, optimize space, and monitor KPIs like on-time shipping and productivity.
