Job summary

NFI is seeking a Warehouse Operations Lead to coordinate and supervise daily warehouse activity on a night shift (Sun-Wed 6PM-6AM). You will direct work assignments, support forklift operations, and drive safety and productivity goals across the team.

Ideal candidates bring fast-paced warehouse experience, WMS proficiency, and strong attention to detail. This role emphasizes data entry, reporting, and effective communication with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to handle changing priorities and exercise good judgment under pressure.
• Good visual acuity to inspect shipments.
• Ability to input data to create daily inventory reports.
• Accurate recordkeeping and sorting, counting, verifying items received.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• MHE experience or willingness to learn MHE.
• Attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and coordinates warehouse processes such as receiving, put away, picking, and loading of products.
• Directs work assignments to employees
• Provide daily hands-on support in Material Handling and Forklift responsibilities
• Drives compliance with safety, quality, and productivity goals in support of warehouse leadership team objectives
• Brainstorms and suggests new ideas on how to improve processes to supervisor
• Communicates professionally, both orally and written, to internal and external partners
• Communicate problems, concerns, and ideas to management; assists in finding solutions to problem areas.
• Ensures efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment
• Trains new and current employees on operational SOPs and WIs
• Ensures the warehouse is clean and orderly; including but not limited to organizing and rotating inventory, maintaining product labels, sweeping warehouse, and assist in staging orders for delivery
• Ensure product is stored safely and in the proper place.
• Assists in maintaining the security of the warehouse
• Additional duties as assigned by the warehouse supervisor or manager.

Under the direction of the Operations Supervisor, this position is responsible for directing work assignments in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives.

Responsibilities
