Job summary

AEO is seeking an Operations Clerk at our Goodyear, AZ distribution center to monitor inventory, resolve discrepancies, and audit deliveries from a workstation using our computer-based applications. You will assist in material handling and support a fast-paced distribution environment.

Responsibilities include data entry, inventory auditing, and daily communication with internal teams and vendors, with a focus on accuracy and safety. English proficiency is required; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in distribution center operations or warehouse experience.
• High school diploma, GED or some high school.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Google Docs/Sheets or MS Office & internet applications.
• Strong data entry and computer proficiency.
• Ability to support other departments as needed.
• English communication required.
• Bonus: Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example; uphold integrity and ownership to drive performance.
• Coordinate paperwork to match merchandise processing functions.
• Enter data and retrieve information using warehouse management systems; audit results.
• Communicate daily with related departments, vendors and Home Office via phone and email.
• Identify and resolve system or paperwork discrepancies.
• Assist in physical and cycle count inventories.
• Monitor and maintain a safe work environment and practices.
• Meet or exceed business targets balancing short and long-term results.
