Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Wilmington, NC is seeking a dependable Warehouse Operations Associate to support daily shipping, receiving, and warehouse tasks within our facilities management team. The role focuses on safe movement of materials, accurate documentation, and maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least 1 year of warehouse experience, and a valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience.
• Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly throughout the work shift.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to use inventory tracking or shipping systems.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment safely to move, stack, and organize inventory.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments while verifying quantities and inspecting materials for damage.
• Sort, organize, and distribute packages and mail to designated departments and locations throughout the facility.
• Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and delivery documentation, including logs and shipment records.
• Support warehouse organization by maintaining clean work areas, clear aisles, and properly stored inventory.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow all company safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and required PPE guidelines during daily operations.
