Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials NA is seeking a warehouse associate to support storage and shipping of raw materials and finished products in a fast-paced environment. You will perform sorting, stacking, packing, and operate cranes or forklifts as needed to move stock.

The role requires reading, basic math, safety awareness, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior warehouse experience is preferred; training will be provided to ensure safe, accurate paperwork and lean initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to use and understand scanning technology.
• Safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform sorting, stacking, cleaning, washing, stocking and inspection of cartons, pallets, or parts as assigned to support the operation.
• Assist in filling and packaging orders and completing paperwork according to instructions.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment to move/deliver stock
• Assist machine operators with a variety of functions as required to support the operation.
• Perform general clean-up activities.
• Maintain all equipment in working condition; report issues or breakdowns to Supervisor or Lead immediately.
• Train others when required.
• Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements.
