Job summary

Leeco Steel, a leading steel plate supplier, seeks a general laborer for our Ambridge, PA location on 1st shift. You will control warehouse inventory, move steel from receiving to warehouse to shipping, and assist with cleaning and related duties.

Responsibilities include receiving orders, stocking, preparing shipments, logging records, and reporting via Excel. Opportunities for growth and safety-focused work environment are emphasized.

• Experience with overhead cranes, machine operation or parts cleaning is preferred.

• Receives orders, loads and processes steel distribution.
• Stores product by designated areas and updates location database.
• Prepares product for shipment by verifying location and directing movement to staging area.
• Verifies inventory reports by comparing logs and adjusting entries.
• Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records; maintaining databases.
• Monitors inventory by completing counts as required.
• Accomplishes distribution and organization tasks as needed.
• Reports on Excel spreadsheets.

Leeco Steel is a leading supplier of steel plate from the premier mills worldwide. Due to our continued growth, we are seeking an additional Warehouse Operations team member for our Ambridge, PA location. This is for 1st shift.

Job Purpose: Controls warehouse inventory by coordinating movement of steel from receiving to warehouse to shipping. This position will be a general laborer, cleaning parts and other warehouse functions.

• Receives orders, loads and processes steel distribution.
• Stores product by designating storage areas; adjusting storage areas according to production and shipping requirements; updating location database.
• Prepares product for shipment by verifying location; directing movement to staging area; resolving problems.
• Verifies product inventory reports by comparing logs and reports; adjusting entries.
• Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records; maintaining databases.
• Monitors inventory by completing counts as required.
• Accomplishes distribution and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• Reports on excel spreadsheets.
