Job summary

Leeco Steel in Brandon, SD is seeking overhead crane operators, machine operators, and general warehouse staff to support our steel distribution operations. You will help receive, store, and prepare shipments while maintaining accurate inventory and safety standards.

Candidates with warehouse or manufacturing experience and crane/machine operation are preferred. Teamwork, reliability, and organizational skills are highly valued in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Overhead crane, forklift or machine operation experience preferred.
• Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work on a collaborative team.
• Coordination, Organization, planning and time management.
• Inventory control and documentation skills.
• Dependability.

Responsibilities

• Operate an overhead crane efficiently and effectively.
• Receive orders, loads and process steel distribution.
• Store product by designating storage areas; adjusting storage areas according to production and shipping requirements; updating location database.
• Prepare product for shipment by verifying location; directing movement to staging area; resolving problems.
• Verify product inventory reports by comparing logs and reports; adjusting entries.
• Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Monitor inventory by completing counts as required.
• Accomplish distribution and organization mission by loading and unloading steel plate timely.
• Maintain safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Leeco Steel is a leading supplier of steel plate from the premier mills worldwide. Due to our continued growth we are seeking additional warehouse employees for our Brandon, SD location. Previous expereience in manufacturing, operating an overhead crane or burn table is preferred. We are currently seeking overhead crane operators, machine operators and general warehouse employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate an overhead crane efficiently and effectively.
• Receive orders, loads and process steel distribution.
