Atlantic Tire Distributors in Edenton, NC is hiring a full-time Non-CDL Delivery Driver to transport tires and related items using a light vehicle under 26,000 GVW. You may load and unload and perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

The role requires adherence to traffic laws, vehicle inspection, and accurate documentation of deliveries. Strong physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds and communicate effectively with customers and supervisors is essential.

Qualifications

• Obey traffic laws and follow transportation procedures.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies to ensure proper working condition.

• Load and unload trucks as required.

Summary:

Drive a light vehicle, such as a truck, with a capacity of less than 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), primarily to deliver or pick up tires. May load and unload vehicle; as well as other duties as assigned by the manager.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions. The truck may or may not be air conditioned/heated seasonally. The employee must regularly lift up to 100 pounds, frequently lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific visions abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalency, a minimum of one-year commercial driver experience required.
