Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a reliable warehouse associate to receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products. You will read schedules and orders to determine items to move, and ensure accurate handling from receiving through to shipping.

Responsibilities include sorting items, storing perishables in refrigerated spaces, filling requisitions, assembling customer orders, marking materials, and assisting in billing processes. High school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Experience moving, storing, or distributing materials within a facility.
• Ability to read schedules and requisitions to determine items to move or collect.
• Basic counting/recordkeeping and ability to assist in billing where required.

Responsibilities

• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Conveys materials from receiving/production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Sorts materials by size, type, style, color, or product code and places on racks or bins.
