Advanced Technology Services, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler in Mossville, IL, to move materials, load/unload, and manage storage areas in a fast-paced factory environment.

You will operate a lift truck, perform data entry, and follow safety and quality procedures while supporting site operations. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and at least three years of related experience; strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and three years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be capable of accurate work and organized; must be able to operate power tools; must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and have a good driving record; must be qualified to operate a lift truck.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence; apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.

Responsibilities

• Works independently following written instructions to move materials in warehouse and related areas; loads/unloads materials by hand; performs login/receiving data entry.
• Records material moves in computer system and completes shipping data entry.
• Attaches labels; secures materials with straps or padding to prevent damage during transit.
• Keeps area clean and organized; manages storage areas as needed.
• Operates industrial truck or hoist to assist in loading/moving materials; adheres to safety procedures.
